at deerbird stables, we believe in a calm and joyful environment for horses and owners and staff

// we believe in tidy spaces

// we believe we work in service of the horse and owner relationship

// we believe it’s important to listen first

// we believe you should feel peaceful when you’re here

// we believe in being lifelong learners and each horse is teaching us something

we believe…

why we do what we do

We want you to love being here, but feel confident and connected to your horse when you can’t be.

We understand how much faith you’re putting in us, and we love our work and feel honored to do it.

We want to be a sweet little barn in North Georgia. Nothing more.

If you go shopping in Blue Ridge, you might run across a sweet little boutique called deerbird. If you go inside, you might meet a sweet little owner named Coco. Coco and Jenn are sisters – and they could not be more different. Coco is a former fashion model turned business owner and stylist. Her fashion is reflected in the shop’s carefully curated offerings – you don’t often find a shop like this in a small mountain town! Jenn, on the other hand, is almost unquestionably in a t-shirt and jeans right now and probably smells like a farm animal. The deer of our logo represents Coco, her generous spirit and open heart; the bird represents Jenn, a little more likely to observe and protect. Both have farmgirl roots and a work ethic to match – and fun fact – both have a tattoo of the logo on their right arm.

There is one more piece of the deerbird puzzle, and that is deerbird farm in Cherry Log. A magic spot to host family gatherings, retreats, weddings, etc and it can even accommodate your horses!

what is deerbird?
